August brings a fresh wave of incredible releases and amazing remixes that spans the wide spectrum of underground house and techno.
We've hand picked the ten favorite tracks of the month featuring such scorching producers as Bicep, Konstantin Sibold, Gacha Bakradze, Kiasmos, Lehar & Mucumeci, Patlac, Dorisburg, Birds Ov Paradise, Tornado Wallace and Polooski.
Scottish producer, Kieran Apter continues to follow his reputation for taking the dance floor on a voyage with his upcoming release “All I Want” EP, featuring edits from Aera and Manuel Tur. The EP is set to release September 1, 2017, on Chapter 24 Records.
Talented Israeli DJ and producer, Chaim released a brand new EP The Perfect Circle which is nothing short of a beautiful soundscape capturing electronic beats meets Middle Eastern inspired sounds. Comprised of three superb tracks with lots of vocal loops featuring throughout, The Perfect Circle is out on Disco Halal. Led by Moscoman, Disco Halal’s sound is described as where the Holy Land meets Berlin capturing all the kaleidoscopic sounds in between and we couldn’t think of a more perfect fit for Chaim’s latest release.
Many in New York will know Cityfox as the masterminds behind the sonic playground, The Brooklyn Mirage. Known for their epic Brooklyn parties with state of the art production, the Swiss promoters of course also have their own label. Out now on the Cityfox label, Chymera is a two track EP from Cologne’s incredibly talented artist Tim Engelhardt featuring a collaboration with Leonard Bywa on the title track. Featuring lots of synths, percussion and driving bass, Engelhardt’s two track release is full of melody demonstrating his knack for exceptional production.

Tracks are listed in no particular order.
Fabian Fenk and Anton Feist tend to melt the supposedly incongruous into a unique musical unity. The Berlin twosome did not merely tie together the German and the English definite article “The /Das” for the purpose of their moniker, but rather play with different genres between ambient techno and dark pop to venture into new territories of contemporary dance music. ‘Drug Dilling EP‘ sees the duo return to Italians finest Life and Death with raw and soft textures, whereas this time club-friendly elements clearly stick out.
Between Ourselves are a relatively new trio on the scene hailing from Waterford, Ireland. Consisting of Geoff Foley, Stephen O' Keeffe and Davin Coady, the lads have released only exceptional deep house tunes since collaborating. Following on from the success of their Nostalgia EP released in October 2016 on Republik Music Recordings, their latest six-track EP out now on the Galaktika Records imprint is nothing short of top-notch electronica and deep house production at its best

When Frankey & Sandrino say they’re releasing a new EP, we stop everything we’re doing and wait with baited breath for it to drop. Their stellar EP ‘Wega’ released on Innervisions earlier this year was an absolute raging hit across dance floors with the self-titled track taking center stage of many DJ sets.
Nautiluss is one of those artists that is pretty difficult to categorize. We like him because he’s well, Canadian, and who doesn’t like Canadians? Maple leaves aside, he’s also a total genius when it comes to sample and sound production. ‘Sample wizard’ is a name that often gets thrown around when trying to describe his body of work, and we definitely agree he’s a pro in this department.
Kalabrese - 'Is This' (Ripperton's Mix n' Remix) [Rumpelmusiq]
Following an impressive string of successful EPs and stellar remixes including his most recent contribution to Chapter 24's "Flow Of Tears" EP, Swiss maestro continues his relationship with the inimitable Rumpelmusiq
