PREMIERE: Kletis - Sundays Memories [Diffuse Reality]

Barcelona-based Diffuse Reality Records continue a streak of sublime releases with Midnight Nectar EP produced by Dominik Knap, aka Kletis. The album of five original tracks and two remixes is an ode to the rainy atmosphere surrounded by the foggy forest town of Liberec on the northern borders of the Czech Sudetenland. Kletis wrote this EP as a reflection on personal feelings from 2014 when he moved to the city, while UK dubstep’s original sound highly influenced his music production.

Known for a clever crossing between dubstep/halftime, techno, and drum N bass, in “Sunday Memories,” Kletis creates an epitome to a day-after mood. He is nicely drawing out a soothing essence of the core me-time: finding comfort in undisturbed melancholy; homebound calmness in a warming mixture of a peaceful rhythmic progression and unrushed sub-level harmonic beats; a subtle aftertaste of a strangely reassuring touch of loneliness.

Midnight Nectar EP is coming out on April 10, 2021, via Diffuse Reality
