Like an auditory blanket on a cold morning, certain producers have almost a calming effect with their music. Providing a sense of warmth, or security with their melodies as they flow through to the listener. Being the soundtrack of so many mornings for myself and others at the Delayed HQ, today we’re happy to premiere Lowdown from Inhmost’s forthcoming ‘Green Space’ release on Stasis Recordings.

Grounded in a series of field recordings, the aptly named release embodies as the label puts, ‘a tranquil hike thru [sic] boreal forests and nomadic wetlands.’ With bubbling brooks and the soft sounds of birds chirping in the distance, there’s something magical about a pairing between the electronic, and natural realms. Lowdown develops at it’s own pace, swelling with wind-like pads that fill the voids left by the stream below. Building to a nice crescendo towards the end before gracefully fading into the mists.

Lowdown, and in turn the rest of Green Space will be released on cassette via Stasis Recordings November 2nd, 2021.
