Lunar Orbit Rendezvous - We Are Machine - Afterhours 010

Gregory Ferguson, aka LOR aka Lunar Orbit Rendezvous, released a magnificent album called 'Faith/Reason' via Ransome Note a few weeks ago. The album is a mesmerizing ambient/electronica voyage that represents a shift in style by the Northern Irishman and perhaps something that we could expect more from him in the future. In the light of the album release, Gregory made the mix for We Are Machine and their Afterhours podcast series. The mix evokes warm nostalgia and tender emotion. It features tracks by some of Gregory's influences like Apex Twin, Four Tet, Brian Eno, and several tracks from his latest album 'Faith/Reason.'

For its latest edition, arch invites Inverted Audio founder Antepop who delivered 2hr long pleasant journey into which the listener can drift freely and create their imagination. In his own words: “This vinyl mix marks my first recorded mix in 8 months, my Technics had been in storage for way too long, but with an invite to record an ambient mix for arch and some recent new additions to my collection, I had to get them dusted off and spinning again. I dug out some of the finest ambient and downtempo records in my collection and put them together with a lone listener in mind. This is not for the dancefloor; it's to let the mind wander. I hope you enjoy listening to it."

XDB - #123

I don't how many of you follow football (you know the one that is actually played with feet), but here's a quick trivia, Messi and Ronaldo are players with the most Ballon d'Or awards (the best player in the world). If there would be an equivalent award for most 'mix of the day' recognitions on RA, German DJ and producer XDB will undoubtedly take all the laureates. And there's a good reason for it. XDB's mixes are truly like music lessons. His weapon of choice is a track selection, and If you had a DJ wizard, that magic would beat all other magics. In his latest mix for Kyiv-based R.13, XDB deliveries 2hr mix that goes places, from Deep House to Dub, to Electro, and back. Get ready to hear tunes you never heard before.

Forest on Stasys - Orb Podcast 043

Danza Nativa label boss, Guido Camino, aka Forest On Stasys, is one of the producers and DJs that lead the 'new wave' in Deep Tribal Techno which is going through a Renaissance in the past few years. The latest mix from Guido is a moody dance floor smasher, a driving Tribal Techno in its best form. Here's what Forest On Stasys had to tell about the mix: "The idea behind the mix is to show the music that has influenced me lately in terms of labels and artists, I feel that the connection is in tribal music and the different ways that it was evolved and how it is interpreted by different artists." As for the record choices, the selection of the records flowed naturally, although I spent several days listening to music, I am fascinated by the work that these artists are doing, they have some timelessness in their music, they sound totally fresh."
