The month of December is full of divine moments of mesmerizing sonic beauty, working its magic on all of the stunning releases, exciting remixes and amazing albums of the electronic music.

We have compiled a list of 10 best tracks released during December, featuring such fervent artists as John Talabot, Love Over Entropy, Marc Piñol, Mattheis, Rancido, Trikk, Prince Of Denmark, Ripperton and Calibre.

John Talabot
‘Voices’
Permanent Vacation

Catalan producer John Talabot has consistently put out incredible music. Following his stunning collaboration with Marc Piñol as Quentin, John Talabot returns to Herman imprint, Permanent Vacation, with a new solo single, titled “Voices”.
The two-tracks package contains the original production and a deeply percussive “Version Conga” from Gerd Janson.
Hypnotic and smooth ambiance meet percussive groove in John Talabot’s “Voices” creating a delicate, weightless feel of hovering between wakefulness and a dream.

Nous'klaer Audio label signs off the year 2016 with a mighty single sided release by the incredibly talented Rotterdam-based producer, Mattheis. "Osi" is the follow-up to his stunning debut " Kindred Phenomena" LP, which was released in November last year. It presents all the great elements of the beautiful melodic techno, bringing out the emotion evoking sheer intensity and powerful groove. Mattheis delivered the gorgeous tower of sound and driving rhythms to create music that is puissant, intricate and uplifting.

The impressive three-tracker 'Devil's Den' EP is a display of Rancido's unique talent of combining contemporary house and techno with afro-house rhythms and textures. 'Patterns/Symbols', the second track on the EP, is a hypnotically dark with a slow-burning intensity voyage that captivates the listener from start to finish.

'Flow Of Tears (Ripperton Remix)'

Chapter 24 marks its sophomore year with an exquisite 24th release of musical fables. “This symbolic offering” describes Chapter 24 “ is a vinyl-only package from Masaya, with an Edition by her close friend and frequent b2b DJ partner Ripperton. Masaya’s entire life is music and this really shines through across the four cuts served by the Swiss-Chilean artist. As boss of her own label Mina Records, she is a real underground star who has been responsible for numerous releases over the last ten years.”
“Ripperton is the long time deep house star from Switzerland who runs his own Tamed Musiq and has fine discography, releasing of the likes of Innervisions, Maeve and more. His version of ‘Flow of Tears’ captures the sound of futuristic house and techno in 2016. It is more direct and driven, with corrugated drums and loose limed percussion lulling you into his autumnal groove.”

'Mozam'

London-based Portuguese producer and musician Bruno Deodato, a.k.a Trikk, had a run of a powerful bass-driven EPs via Optimo Trax, Drumcode, ManMakeMusic, Pets Recordings, Lossless, since his entrance into the electronic music scene in 2012. The multi-talented producer continues his impressive discography with a brand new masterfully crafted “Florista” EP released via a celebrated German imprint, Innervisions. The 4-track EP is an exciting “outtaspacehousemusic for the heads and the floor,” journey through Trikk’s creative musical mind. The highly anticipated “Mozam” is a uniquely refined, hypnotically deep percussive affair enhanced by a beautifully twisted melody and subtle, textured elements.

Prince Of Denmark

Forum

German enigmatic techno guru, Prince of Denmark ( a.k.a.  DJ Metatron, a.k.a. Traumprinz) strikes gold yet again with a 23-track sophisticated techno album via  Giegling's sub-label, Forum. The LP, entitled "8", spread across eight pieces of vinyl. It's Prince Of Denmark's sophomore album following 2013's 'The Body' which was also released on Forum.
'GS' is one of the many standout cuts on the album and it is not to take away from the power and beauty of others tracks. It's a gorgeous and intricate journey that excels on so many levels including a subtle and magical tranquility layered over the magnificently haunting intensity of the elegant and soulful techno that the listener is treated onto to the track.

'Thunder Fog’
The Nothing Special

It's is always inspiring to see an artist hit their stride.
Irish prolific artist Dominick Martin, also known as Calibre, returns to Craig Richards' The Nothing Special label with a gem of an album, "Grow". The impressive 12-track  LP is a beautifully constructed work brimming with endless creativity. Calibre explores a dazzling array of breathtaking musical ideas and diverse range of styles. He masterfully glides between jazzy garage, pulsating futuristic dub and hypnotic broakenbeat, while having each track cloaked in a light veil of melancholy.
One of the standout tracks in the album, ‘Thunder Fog’, stays in breakbeat-driven territory with it’s patently dark undertones, sinister warm pads and eerie vocals played in unison by the hypnotic groove.

'Maerk'

The impressively talented producer Paul Schroeder ( a.k.a Aparde) makes his debut on the Lenient Tales Recordings with an intelligent, moody and beautifully hypnotic 'Maerk' EP following the 'Dialogue' EP released last year via Keller label. The three-track package filled with an enticing, organic energy that throws off magical sparks from beginning to end. The eponymously named "Maerk" is a gorgeously cinematic piece that toes the line between brooding and melancholic, managing to convey a subtle magic of sonic beauty.
